The War On Truth

This game was developed in 48 hours during the Hackathon Todos x Fakes held at the Goethe Institut in São Paulo, Brazil.

Story - The War On Truth:

Once upon a time, in a country in ruins and engulfed in chaos, a "messiah" emerges as the savior leader. Confused amid misery and despair, the masses place all their hopes on the leader, whose primary 'weapon' is information. Censored headlines, distorted news... the obvious is denied. Amid the absurd and ludicrous, our protagonist witnesses a horror show. But soon he will discover the truth, for there is no way to go against the truth, the consummated fact, the real situation that unfolds after the first failure... the end of a deep sleep.

Chapter 1:

Another day of campaigning. The fearful leader prepares his speech about the greatness of the nation and victories over enemy countries. Meanwhile, news from correspondents at the Front is far from ideal. To make the ideal real, the truth must be suppressed. The dream must be above reality. It is the censor's role to keep the 'dream of the nation' alive.

How to Play:

Move the mouse to move the character's hand during gameplay and click the left button to use the pen.

Press the left button to censor a word or phrase present in the newspaper.
